Sonny Jurgensen and Deacon Jones Autographed 16x20 Photo

Two Hall of Famers signed this great shot which show Sonny about to release just prior to getting crushed by Deacon. Soony played eleven seasons with the Washington Redskins from 1964-1974 and helped them to Super Bowl VII. During his career he threw for 32,224 yards and 255 touchdowns, was a member of 1960's All-Decade team, five time selected as All-Pro and elected into the Hall of Fame in 1983. While Deacon revolutionized the position druing his fifteen year career with the Rams (1961-71), San Diego Chargers (72-73) & Washington Redskins in 1974. Was the anchor of the Fearsome Foursome along with Merlin Olson, Lamar Lundy & Rosey Grier who is widely considered one of the best defensive lines of all-time. He was twice selected as the defensive player of the year in 1967 & 1968 and selected to the NFL 75th anniversary team. Inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1980.This was signed at the Collectors Showcase of America sports card show on October 31, 2009 and includes a certificate of authenticity from Denver Autographs
