Earvin Johnson is truly ""Magic."" As point guard of the Los Angeles Lakers he led his team to five championships during the 1980s claiming three NBA Playoff MVP Awards and three NBA MVP Awards. With "Showtime" starring Magic and the Lakers team the team and the sport as a whole was rejuvenated.
