Ken Stabler autographed Oakland Raiders jersey with "74 NFL MVP" inscription. An awesome piece signed by future HALL OF FAMER Ken Stabler. Stabler played professionally with the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints and Houston Oilers. It was during his stand out years at Foley High School that he earned the infamous nickname "Snake." The story goes that during a play he took the football and weaved downfield the entire length of the field, side to side, and an excited Coach Denzel Hollis proclaimed, "that boy runs like a snake." After an incredible high school career, it was Paul "Bear" Bryant who convinced Stabler that his future lie at the University of Alabama. At Alabama he won several awards including: Alabama Co-Captain 1967 "MVP" 1967 Sugar Bowl "Most Valuable SEC Back", 1967 "SEC Player of the Year. Ken Stabler's awards in the NFL include: 1974, 1976 AFC "Player of the Year" 1974 "Offensive Player of the Year" 1976 NFL "Player of the Year" and NFL Passing Champion 1977. He led the Oakland Raiders to Super Bowl XI victory over the Minnesota Vikings and was named "All Pro Team" in 1974, 1976 & 1977. Played the Pro Bowl in 1973, 1974. This was signed on February 23, 2008 at theTri Star Productions card show in San Francisco, CA. Includes a certificate of authenticity from Denver Autographs
