Joe Sakic & Peter Forsberg Autographed Colorado Avalanche 16x20

This shot was personally autographed by both Joe Sakic and Peter Forsberg. It shows the two lined up for the national anthem prior to a game in the late 90's. Sakic is one of the all-time greats, he is a member of the select 600 goal club and has played in over 1300 career NHL games all with the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche organization. The longtime captain of the Avs, he has won 2 Stanley Cups, 1996 and 2001, competed in two olympics and won gold with Team Canada in 2002. He was also was selected as the Conn Smythe award (playoff MVP) in 1995 and won the Hart Trophy (MVP) in 2000 along with the Lady Byng (Most Gentlemanly Player). While Forsberg was the most exciting member in franchise history who owns many franchise records, a fan favorite for his gritty play, he was a member of both Stanley Cup Championship teams in 1996 and 2001.
