Joe Namath Autographed New York Jets Throwback Mini Helmet

This is a New York Jets throwback mini helmet which was personally autographed by Joe Namath. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1985 in recognition of his 13 year career in which he personally guaranteed a Super Bowl victory over the heavily favored Colts and then backed up his words giving the AFL their first Super Bowl championship. In 1967 he became the first quarterback to throw for 4000 yards in a single seaso and was named the AFL player of the year. This was signed at the MAB sports card show on December 13, 2008 and includes a certificate of authenticity from Denver Autographs and JSA authenticated as well as a picture of him signing.
