Anthony Gonzalez was a 3-year letterman at Ohio State University, playing with fellow future NFL wide receivers Santonio Holmes, Ted Ginn Jr and Roy Hall as well as Heisman Trophy Winner and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Troy Smith. As a junior, Gonzalez was an All-Big Ten choice by league coaches. Gonzalez was also an Academic All-American, majoring in philosophy.
